God's Provision
George ThomsonYou all know George...he’s the distinguished-looking gentlemen who shared his testimony about how God healed him of stroke paralysis after he expressed the wish to dance before the Lord.
Well, here’s another amazing testimony of God’s goodness towards him.
George is a pensioner who gets his pension from the UK and it varies depending on the exchange rate. Last month was particularly difficult and he ran out of money before the end of the month. He lives in a Retirement Home where he only gets one meal a day and was wondering what he was going to eat the rest of the time.
He went out for the day and when he returned, there was a bag hanging off his door handle. It was full of goodies and nourishing food. Turns out, someone had made a donation to the Retirement Home at Christmas time and they had been a little tardy in passing it on. They chose to hand it out weeks later, on the very day that George ran out of food.
“And I hadn’t ever prayed yet!” George comments, delighted to discover that God truly does know before he asks, what he needs.
