Some Ministry happenings in 2010...
God has a dream and He is calling all of us to dream with Him. His dreams are not selfish; they are dreams that demand that we give ourselves unreservedly to Him for the cause of the Kingdom. Neither are His dreams tame; He is a wild God who births universes when He opens His mouth.
In 2010 we look forward to connecting people to Jesus through, amongst other things, equipping and releasing the priesthood, learning to live in His power but above all growing our love relationship with Jesus and each other.
Headed up by Rob Cawood, God’s dream worship team - the entire Vantage Point congregation - have much to look forward to next year. The dream is to facilitate worship in such a way that each one of us can deepen our intimacy with Jesus. For the muso’s and singers with mikes, there will plenty of opportunity to grow in ability and creative expression as Rob continues to organize workshops and seminars.
Drama, dance, creative writing, prophetic painting…you name it, 2010 is going to see a tremendous release of the creative into our midst. Gisella Lindeque is coordinating this ministry so please contact her if you are interested in participating.
Apart from our regular mid-week prayer times on Wednesday evenings, there will be lunchtime prayer from 12-2 almost every day, starting 12 January. If you want to help, contact Trish Cawood. See you there.
Meet Men Alive!
Marius is heading up a ministry that is for every man in Vantage Point – no man will be left behind. It’s a ministry that will help men to find their place in the battle and to live out the adventure He has planned for them with Jesus, the King of Kings.
All aboard! We’ve got a mandate to get equipped and go do the work of the Kingdom. Next year we’ll be offering pastoral and theological training on both believer and teacher levels. Whatever your interest or calling, you’ll be able to upskill yourself right here at Vantage Point Church. Watch this space!
