Home Groups
“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” Acts 2: 46When the church first started, the believers met both in the temple and in one another’s homes; to fellowship, to praise God together; to share in the ups and downs of life as a Christian in a hostile world. Being part of a home group remains one of the pillars of discipleship that every Christian should avail themselves of.
At Vantage Point, most of the pastoral care takes place within the Home Group context, where skilled and caring leaders, as well as a loving community, are available to ‘carry one another’s burdens’ and grow together.
