Pieter & Hettie van der Walt
Pieter and Hettie have been married for 14 years and have one girl and two boys; Marizaan(13), Pieter-Joshua(9) and Daniel(8). Pieter is a manager at Liberty Life and Hettie is a director of social development, otherwise known as a housewife! She loves to dance, cycle and walk while Pieter enjoys sport (golf, gym and tennis). Hettie was born in Rustenburg and Pieter is originally from Kroonstad.

What's your greatest desire?
Pieter: "To see people free and operating in their gifting."
Hettie: "To behold Jesus' face and embrace Him one day. That my children always call Jesus their Saviour, be filled with the Holy Spirit, acknowledge Him in every area of their lives and always choose to follow Him. That we will live out God's plan and will for us to the glory of the King!"
How did you become part of the Vantage Point family?
Pieter: "Referred by a friend."
Hettie: "Pieter started visiting Wouter's home group while I was still in Nelspruit. A lifelong friend told us to look up Wouter and join his church and homegroup, but Pieter had already started there!"
What's the greatest invention in the last 50 years?
Pieter: "A Company. I agree with Warren Buffet."
Hettie: "Cellphones."
Your favourite place on earth?
Pieter: "Victoria Bay."
Hettie: "Kaapsche Hoop and Victoria Baai. There is also a song that says, 'Here in Your courts where I'm close to your throne, I found where I belong' That will be my favourite, favourite place!"
What makes you laugh?
Pieter: "My kids and wife."
Hettie: "Pieter, Daniel and Cathy."
If you could have a super-power, what would it be?
Pieter: "Mind reading."
Hettie: "Invisibility. Especially when Piet and the kids are looking for something!"
If you were a fruit, what would you be?
Pieter: "Marula."
Hettie: "Mango - Lots of hair, bright and sunny, sweet and juicy!"
