Welcome to Vantage Point Church. As you visit our services, you will discover that our heart is to see you connect with God and with our wonderful Vantage Point family. Below is some information that will help you know what to expect from our services and our church.


Worship

At Vantage Point the heart of our worship is to encounter the presence of God, lifting our voices in praise to His majesty and surrendering our lives to His pleasure. Our worship is a mix of contemporary music combined with more traditional songs done in a contemporary fashion. Worship is in English for the English service and a mix of Afrikaans & English songs for the Afrikaans service. 


Government

A team of elders governs Vantage Point, with Wynand Lindeque serving as the lead elders. We believe that healthy church functions where proper biblical government is established and Scripture clearly indicates that the church is to be led by a plurality of leadership.  At Vantage Point we recognize the need for the 5-fold governmental leaders to be in place to ensure that everyone’s giftings, passions and needs will be ministered to, nurtured and developed. 


Area Pastors

We have 3 area pastors who are responsible for overseeing the shepherding and nurturing of our church community through several LifeGroup Pastors. Below are the names, numbers and areas that our Area Pastors oversee. Feel free to contact them for more information regarding your area. Please note that you are welcome to attend a LifeGroup that is not in your area. Our desire is to match you with a LifeGroup that you would feel most comfortable and yet also be greatly challenged at the same time.
