King’s Cross Training is a Spirit-directed, multi-cultural theological training ministry of Vantage Point Church called to bring glory to God and to strengthen the Church by equipping believers, and in particular, church leaders, in the Word of God. Courses, developed and produced by the King’s Cross team, are run on location at the request of churches, Bible schools and Missions organizations. As one of the components of our pastoral care at Vantage Point Church, we highly value counseling and one-on-one ministry. At the church we provide individuals, couples, and families a space for pastoral, Spirit-directed and biblically based counseling providing interaction, dialogue, accountability, counsel and prayer in seeking God’s wisdom and intervention regarding spiritual, psychological and social issues. There are three essential basic values that govern this ministry: Living in A fallen, depraved and corrupt world, people need support, encouragement and guidance through life: Pain, discouragement and confusion that are common to the human experience, prompting requests for assistance from time to time. The triune God is the Deliverer, the Healer, the Restorer, the Provider, the Counselor, the Comforter, the Protector, and the Guider. Genuine peace and joy are found only in and through relationship with our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We, the Church, are the caregivers: God's people are the human resources called and gifted to bear one another's burdens, to build each other up and love one another. In doing so, we become the means and the channels through which people encounter God in a way that God’s presence and intervention are experienced in their life for spiritual growth.
One of our greatest core values at Vantage Point Church is community. Scripture reveals time and time again the importance of local church community and the role it plays in the life of every believer. Our baptism into the universal church of God (1 Corinthians 12) is displayed by our immersion into our local church family. Within family our individual identity is formed. It is where we sharpen, serve, support and disciple one another. It is through immersion into our local church community that we discover the blessing of unity in Christ and the power it has to transform our personal lives and the world around us. At Vantage Point Church we encourage our members to join one of our weekly LifeGroups. These groups have been formed to meet the specific needs of our church family and there is one for you! For information regarding the times and locations of LifeGroup gatherings, please call the church office for details.
